A couple of months ago, Vivo debuted the Vivo Y75 5G in India. Now, it appears that the company is gearing up to unveil a 4G version of the Vivo Y75 in the country. However, it’s worth noting that Vivo released a smartphone with a similar moniker in 2017, the Vivo Y75.
According to a new report by 91Mobiles and ZeeBusiness, Vivo might launch the Vivo Y75 4G on May 22nd in India. The handset might have a 6.44-inch display, be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 and feature triple cameras on the back. Let’s take a closer look at the device, its specifications, features, and expected launch date in India.
Vivo Y75 4G Specifications
The upcoming Vivo Y75 4G is said to be built around a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch housing the 44MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, the phone reportedly is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 SoC. The Y75 4G might be available with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.
There’s an in-display fingerprint sensor, and support for up to 4GB of extendable Virtual RAM. Vivo is likely to equip the Vivo Y75 4G with triple cameras on the back comprising of a primary 50MP sensor, a secondary 8MP shooter and a tertiary 2MP camera.
The Vivo Y75 4G could draw power from a 4,020mAh battery that is said to fast charge at 44W speeds. The phone, as revealed by the report, measures 7.36mm in thickness and weighs 172 grams. The device will boot Android 12 out of the box.
Vivo might price the Y75 4G under Rs 22,000 in the country. Recall that the Vivo Y75 5G is sold in a single 8GB + 128GB configuration, priced at Rs 21,990 in India. The Y75 4G differs in quite a lot of ways when compared to its 5G counterpart. For instance, the Y75 5G only has support for 18W speeds while the 4G is said to feature 44W fast charging.
