The questioning of 5g had to do with the separation between phones and altimeters in the c band. That separation is only 0.04 ghz.

5G broadcasting on “C” band is effecting the radio altimeters of Boeing 777/787 as far as I know..never heard of any accident or incident about 5G interference on final approach at Los Angeles or San Francisco since myself as an airline pilot operate at least 3 times a month to the related airports..

CptPower, 8 hours agoJust one question.
Untill now all airports and most countries everywhere worked on 4G or LTE… morewell, 3g, 4g and 5g all use different spectrum. The FAA doesnt have a problem with 5G per se, it did have a problem with the specific frequencies these towers will use. But it seems they have sorted it out
Just one question.
Untill now all airports and most countries everywhere worked on 4G or LTE and noone complained.
Now everybody have problem.
By the way its a same story like it was when 3G were being upgraded to 4G it was a same story but no major problem arised.
