Samsung plans to invest ₹400 crore to start manufacturing 5G and 4G radio equipment at its facility in Tamil Nadu, Times Now reported. Samsung has bagged deals from both Jio and Airtel for supplying 5G radios for select circles. Several global manufacturers, including Samsung, Nokia and Jabil, have joined government’s production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme to produce high-tech products in India.
