Orange Spain said it has been awarded a contract to upgrade the mobile communications infrastructure of the University of Alcala de Henares near Madrid. Under the terms of the deal, worth EUR 900,000 over four and a half years, the operator will help the historic institution adapt its network to an increasingly digital and connected reality via the implementation of a mobile network with advanced security tools for its 28,000-plus students and staff.
