Honor launched the Magic 4 series smartphones at the MWC 2022 earlier this week. Now it looks like the company is gearing up to launch a new budget phone in the X series called the Honor X8 (not to be confused with the Honor 8X). The upcoming Honor X8 smartphone has been now spotted on FCC and TÜV Rheinland revealing some of the key features and specifications of the device.
Spotted on FCC and TÜV Rheinland Certification Sites
The upcoming Honor X8 will be a budget device, the phone has now been spotted on the TFY-LX2, TFY-LX1 and TFY-LX3 model numbers on both the certification database. The FCC listing first up confirms the inclusion of Google apps and services from the screenshot. Further, the FCC listing also confirms Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi support on the device. The listing also confirms this device to be limited to only 4G networks and does not offer support for 5G.
Further, the TÜV Rheinland database confirms the upcoming Honor X8 to feature a 4000mAh battery and support for 22.5W fast charging.
Honor X8 4G Specifications (Expected)
In a separate leak, a few days back a report from Winfuture revealed the full specification of the device. As per the report, the Honor X8 will be based on Honor X30i, which was launched in China. However, unlike the Honor X30i, the X8 will be a 4G device. The phone is expected to launch in Europe for around 200 euros, which is roughly Rs 16,700.
In terms of the specifications, the Honor X8 will be powered by an octa-core SoC with four ARM Cortex-A73 cores running at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores with speeds of up to 1.9 GHz. The phone is said to feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. To the front, the phone will come with a 6.7-inch LCD panel with Full HD resolution and a 16MP selfir camera.
On the back, the phone is said to come with a 64MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide lens, and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. The phone is expected to run on Android 11 out of the box. The phone is expected to launch soon.
