Austin FC announced on Wednesday that all of the Club’s English and Spanish broadcast partners and on-air talent are returning for the 2022 Major League Soccer (MLS) season. Austin FC also released the full list of regionally televised channel assignments in English and Spanish across KNVA (The CW Austin) and KBVO (MyNetwork TV) in English, and KTFO (UNIMÁS Austin) in Spanish.

All 34 of Austin FC’s 2022 MLS regular season matches will feature live local radio broadcasts on iHeart Radio’s KASE-FM (Alt 97.5) in English and TUDN Radio Austin (104.3-HD2, KLQB-FM) in Spanish.

For each of the 26 regional broadcasts available on linear television in the greater Austin metropolitan area, a simulcasted digital stream in both English and Spanish will be made available to those who are physically present within Austin FC’s broadcast territory. An English digital stream shall be available at AustinFC.com or via the Austin FC mobile app, and the Spanish digital stream will be available at www.univisionaustin.com or via the Univision 62 Austin mobile app.

To learn more about Austin FC’s broadcast territory (generally defined as the greater Austin metropolitan area and the greater San Antonio metropolitan area) and to verify geographic eligibility to view Austin FC’s regionally broadcast digital streams while in Central Texas, fans can visit the Austin FC broadcast zipcode generator at www.austinfc.com/fans/stream-zipcodes.

KNVA (The CW Austin) will broadcast nineteen (19) of Austin FC’s 2022 MLS regular season matches, starting with the Club’s first match of the season against FC Cincinnati on February 26. KBVO (MyNetwork TV) will broadcast seven (7) regular season MLS matches. KBVO will also broadcast the Club’s friendly against Liga MX Champions, Atlas FC, on February 16.

Nine (9) of Austin FC’s 2022 MLS regular season matches will feature a live television broadcast in Spanish language on KTFO (UNIMÁS Austin) and five (5) matches will feature a tape-delay television broadcast in Spanish on KTFO (UNIMÁS Austin).

Adrian Healey, Austin FC’s English language play-by-play television commentator and Executive Director of Broadcast and Content, will once again lead Austin FC’s on-air English language television and digital stream programming in 2022. Michael Lahoud returns alongside Healey as Analyst for all 26 regional broadcasts available in the English language on both linear television and digital streaming platforms.

Healey and Lahoud both bring extensive knowledge of Austin FC, MLS, and American soccer. Healey joined Austin FC from ESPN, where he commentated on more MLS matches than any other ESPN commentator in history. Michael Lahoud enjoyed a career as a professional soccer player from 2009 – 2019, including tenures at Philadelphia Union and Chivas USA.

On Spanish language television, Roger Valdivieso returns as the Club’s Play-by-Play announcer, and he will be joined again in the booth by Sonny Guadarrama, an Austin native with over 15 years of professional playing experience across the United States and Mexico.

Lincoln Rose will once again serve as the Club’s English language radio play-by-play announcer on iHeart Radio’s KASE-FM (Alt 97.5). Rose has 26 years of broadcasting experience and 11 years of experience calling soccer matches. He called 27 Austin FC matches during the Club’s inaugural 2021 season.

All regionally broadcasted Austin FC regular season matches in 2022 will be available in high-definition to 100 percent of the television households in the greater Austin metropolitan viewing area. Both the CW Austin and UNIMÁS Austin (KFTO) are available over-the-air via a variety of linear television distribution platforms, including televisions with a regular or HD antenna and via cable and satellite providers.

Austin FC is scheduled to appear on national television for eight (8) of its regular season matches with another 26 regular season matches being regionally broadcast locally within Austin FC’s broadcast territory. The Club’s home matches at Q2 Stadium against Inter Miami CF on Sunday, March 6 (3:00pm CDT, ESPN), Seattle Sounders on Sunday, March 20 (3:30pm CDT, FS1), Minnesota United FC on Sunday, April 10 (6:30pm CDT, FS1), LA Galaxy on Sunday, May 8 (6:00pm CDT, FS1), Houston Dynamo FC on Tuesday, July 12 (8:00pm CDT, UNIMÁS), and Los Angeles FC on Friday, August 26 (7:00pm CDT, ESPN) will be broadcast nationally, as well as away matches against Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday, April 30 (12:30pm CDT, Univision) and LA Galaxy on Sunday, May 29 (TBD, UNIMÁS).

Viewers outside the Austin FC broadcast territory can tune in to regionally broadcasted regular season matches via ESPN+.
